Due to the expected fear campaign of 2020-2021, Forge 46 is updating to protocol 47. All those trained for protocol 48 are to meet at the 48th coalescence. Others are to file in at 46 to prepare the 47th response. 

Going into this it’s best to remember our binding truth. Our lives were handed over long ago. For this time together we’re nothing more than the dead who carry the burden of the living. Our social sacrifice has been social suicide - each of us a subject of necessary martyrdom. In a society that values the popular over the proper, we chose the path of most resistance to work against the lies of fear mongers and snake oil salesmen. All of this has been at the cost of our own social viability. What this has afforded us is a dead focus, an absolute of logical principles rather than fickle emotional impulses.

This led us to seek out the dead spaces we all know so well. Each of us have trusted our own personal instinct to move away from our life as we knew it, to seek better ethics, and company. We found each other along the way and in each other we found a part of ourselves that always seemed just out of grasp. As bastard generations who managed to find something familiar enough to call family, we are proud. Seeing each one of you as a reflection of those standing to your left and right gives me hope, a strong feeling of enhanced security and love.  

We’ll buy our other loved ones some time til they find their way back to us. We’ll continue sacrificing for those who continue living their hopeful, naive lives until their naivety is no longer sustainable. The fear being pushed on the living can halt their lives for now, but it doesn’t frighten the dead. It’s our dead insulation that will prevent the living from seeing the other side for now. Beyond our sacrifice, it’s important to know we remain grateful for this experience as it leverages us to feel alive one more time. Knowing we’ll eventually be projected as boogeymen by the media doesn’t upset us. I’d say it sets us at ease if anything. It reminds us of who we are to them just as well as we know how important we are for the people.

We’ll face and deface those fears of the innocent. We’ll secure an opportunity for the innocent to go back to their relatively peaceful lives as soon as we finish consuming their enemies. Our sustenance waits behind the hidden eyes of a recurring evil -  learn to have fun with this, but be thorough  - we can’t leave a single crumb. We’re to reap this crop and wait for new waters to sustain the next. Remember, all of us have been quietly starving for some time now. Be patient and kindly share with your brothers.
